Brief Bio:

I taught African and Caribbean History for over forty years, first at the University of Guyana and then at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus. I have been editor of the Journal of Caribbean History since 1998.

Research Interests:

Slavery, Colonialism, Guyanese History
