ACCOMMODATION

The Organising Committee will not be arranging accommodation for participants. It is, therefore, up to each participant to make his / her own arrangements in this regard.

Options:

As a prime tourist destination, there are many fine hotels to be found both on the South Coast (further away from campus) and the West Coast (closer to campus). A fairly comprehensive and recent list of hotels, guesthouses, and apartments (together with an indication of their location and rates) may be found at: http://barbados.org/hotrate.htm .

Access to the Internet:

Participants should note that Barbados' technological infrastructure is up to date. E-mail and internet facilities are accordingly available on campus at the Computer Centre and by wi-fi in some locations.

Please note that UWI does not have funds to assist participants with either travel or accommodation costs. UWI students may have access to some internal awards to assist with their participation. Such persons should contact the local office of the School for Graduate Studies and Research.
