Centre for Cricket Research (CCR)
The CCR was established in 1993 to coordinate and sponsor research, publications and public lectures in West Indies cricket culture. Already it has established a presence and a reputation for these activities. Its objective is to provide the Department and the University with an expertise in this area of popular culture in order to facilitate the teaching programme and support a research agenda.
SIR FRANK WORRELL MEMORIAL LECTURE
The CCR has developed as part of its programme the annual Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Lecture. The inaugural lecture was delivered in 1994 and lectures given to date are as follows:
