Brief Bio

Ian Craig was born in Lincoln, England and studied at the University of Essex and the University of London, from where he obtained his doctorate in Hispanic Studies. He worked as a translator in Madrid before coming to Cave Hill in 1999.

Research Interests

Study abroad in the Caribbean, Latin American and Caribbean film, translation in the Caribbean, Francoist censorship, and contemporary Cuba.
