FRENCH PLACEMENT TEST 2007

for students taking
FREN 1401 French Language IA

- Monday August 27, 2007 & August 28, 2007-

All students who are registering for FREN 1401 French Language 1A for the first time are required to do a written and oral placement test, the results of which will determine whether they can remain in the course or need further preparation for it.

The written placement test will take place on Monday, the 27th of August 2007, at 5:00 p.m. in the Language Laboratory and is of two hours duration. After the written test, you will be asked to select a time slot for the Oral, which takes place on the Tuesday, 28th.

Students who do not reside permanently in Barbados may sit the test during registration week if they are unable to be present for the dates given above. Except for extenuating circumstances, residents of Barbados are asked to respect that timetable.

Please note that the placement test is not required of students entering FREN 1401 from FREN 0102.
