Students are reminded that ALL examination results are issued subject to approval by the relevant Faculty Boards of Examiners and confirmation by the University Senate. Boards of Examiners may amend grades prior to approval by University Senate.
All students are advised that in accordance with the Revised University Examination Regulations 2011-2012 that the following GPA Regulation 12(ii) is effective from Semester 1, 2011-2012 (semester 201110)
“FOR STUDENTS ENTERING IN 2011-2012, EXCEPT WHERE OTHERWISE PRESCRIBED IN FACULTY REGULATIONS, WHOSE GPA FOR A GIVEN SEMESTER IS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 0.99 SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE PERFORMING UNSATISFACTORILY, AND SHALL BE PLACED ON WARNING. A STUDENT ON WARNING WHOSE GPA FOR THE SUCCEEDING SEMESTER IS LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO 0.99 WILL BE REQUIRED TO WITHDRAW. HOWEVER, A STUDENT MAY BE REINSTATED IF HIS/HER GPA IMPROVES BEYOND 0.99 IN SEMESTER 2 BY CREDITS OBTAINED IN SUMMER SCHOOL. AS OF 2012-2013 THIS REGULATION SHALL APPLY TO ALL STUDENTS”

THE DEADLINE DATE FOR REQUESTS FOR REMARKS AND/OR DISCUSSIONS (DISCUSSION MEANS - GO THROUGH A FAILED SCRIPT ONLY) OF EXAMINATION RESULTS IS FRIDAY, JANUARY 27, 2012. NO REQUESTS WOULD BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.
Students expecting to complete their programme and graduate are asked to check their on-line records carefully as well as to ensure that names and addresses are correct. If there are errors please report these immediately to the Admissions/Registration office of Student Affairs.
The results are issued subject to confirmation by your Faculty Board of Examiners.
