IMPORTANT DATES SEMESTER II, 2009-2010

Normal Registration closed: Sunday January 24, 2010
Late Registration: Monday, January 25 – Friday, February 12, 2010
Late registration fee will be applied
Add/Drop Deadline/ Close of Registration Friday, February 12, 2010
Compulsory Leave of Absence: Friday, February 12, 2010
Undergraduate students not registered by February 12, 2010 will be placed on Compulsory Leave of Absence for the current semester and will have to apply for re-entry when they are ready to continue studies.
Access Restriction: Monday, February 15, 2010
All Students with outstanding fees who have not made satisfactory arrangements with the Bursary will have their access to CHOL, Moodle and the campus network blocked.
Deregistration: Monday, March 01, 2010
All undergraduate students with outstanding fees and those who have agreed payment plans which have not been honoured will be deregistered and placed on Compulsory Leave of Absence. Such students will have to apply for re-entry when they are ready to continue studies.
Collection of Examination Cards: Wednesday, March 24 – Wednesday April 7, 2010
Examinations Begin: Monday, April 26, 2010
Examinations End: Wednesday, May 12, 2010
Semester Ends: Wednesday, May 12, 2010

REGISTRATION SEMESTER II 2009/2010

STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER FOR COURSES ONLINE UNTIL THEIR UNIVERSITY FEES HAVE BEEN PAID.

PAYMENT OF FEES
Fees may be paid:

  • at the Campus Bursary (cashier's station) by cash, debit cards, manager's and certified cheques;
  • by credit card on-line through CHOL (www.cavehill.uwi.edu/chol);
  • at any branch of the Barbados National Bank;
  • through the on-line payment systems of the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Royal Bank of Canada.

SEMESTER I 2009-2010: UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

EXAMINATIONS RESULTS NOTICE

Students are reminded that ALL examination results are issued subject to approval by the relevant Faculty Boards of Examiners and confirmation by the University Senate.  Boards of Examiners may amend grades prior to approval by University Senate.
 
THE DEADLINE DATE FOR REQUESTS FOR REMARKS AND/OR DISCUSSIONS (DISCUSSION MEANS - GO THROUGH A FAILED SCRIPT ONLY) OF EXAMINATION RESULTS IS FEBRUARY 1, 2010. NO REQUESTS WOULD BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.

 

Students expecting to complete their programme and graduate at the end of Semester I 2009-2010 are asked to check their on-line records carefully as well as to ensure that names and addresses are correct. If there are errors please report these immediately to the Admissions/Registrations Office of Student Affairs.

 
STUDENTS ARE ALSO INFORMED THAT THERE IS CURRENTLY A GRADE HOLD APPLIED TO ALL STUDENTS RECORDS WHICH WILL BE REMOVED WHEN RESULTS ARE MADE OFFICIAL.
