UWI Development & Endowment Fund

The Cave Hill Campus Development and Endowment Fund was launched in July 2003.

It provides a vehicle for donors to make tax-deductible contributions to UWI. The Fund is established as a charitable trust in Barbados. Donors can make tax deductible financial contributions by Deed of Covenant over a three year period in accordance with the laws of Barbados. Financial contributions may also be tax deductible for donors in the United States through the American Foundation for UWI, a registered 501 (c) 3 organisation.

A Board of Trustees, headed by Mr. Paul Altman, Managing Director of AAAltman Real Estate, manages the Fund. The Fund has been mandated to raise US$35 million to support the long term infrastructural development programme of the Campus and build an endowment for the future.

We are eager to have you join our growing list of corporate partners, who have made generous contributions in support of the Campus’ strategic objectives.

Download the brochure An Opportunity for Partnership to learn more about projects for which we are seeking private support and about the Endowment Fund.
