Campus Quality Assurance Programme Office


The Campus Quality Assurance Programme Office (CQAP) is a unit within the Office of the Principal that is concerned with facilitating the development, management, assurance and enhancement of total quality at the Cave Hill Campus. Although its principal focus is on enhancement of the campus systems, it works in collaboration with the University’s Quality Assurance Unit to achieve the common objectives of the university system. In this regard the team is presently working on the following projects:

  • Developing and establishing a campus quality management system across all organizational structures on the campus
  • Preparing quality enhancement leaders and teams for engagement of campus quality management initiatives and for registration and accreditation with the local accreditation agency
  • Monitoring campus quality management and assurance systems to contribute to overall enhancement
  • Facilitating projects concerned with improvement of administrative, outreach and student services
  • Coordinating campus-wide institutional assessment functions including building capacity among departments, units and offices for evaluations (including semester course evaluations) and surveys to inform quality on campus
