2018 Theme -  Caribbean Commercial Law:Engine for Resilience

Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas

This year’s workshop engages with commercial law’s resilience and vulnerabilities in the face of natural and man-made threats. Day 1 will seek to examine the role of commercial law in helping to overcome natural disasters, including topics related to financing, re-building, debt structuring, employment, insurance, IT and trade facilitation.  Day 2 will seek to focus more closely on finance, including de-risking, Fin Tech, crypto currencies, project financing, IFCs and tax.

The workshop will feature the popular and dynamic roundtable sessions, including  both corporate counsel and commercial law practice roundtables.  We look forward to addressing these and other exciting topics in The Bahamas!
